Introduction

Good evening.

It does not actually matter what time it is where you are when you are reading this, for in the Optistery it is always early evening. Too late to head out, too early to turn in, the perfect time to read, or to discuss what you have read.

On that note I should make clear the purpose of this blog, which is to be a repository for my thoughts on various pieces of writing. It is my hope that should you choose to read my entries you will find them thoughtful and enlightening. Failing that, finding them to be entertaining will also suffice.

It should be noted that the initial impetus for the creation and population of this blog is my Composition II course, ENG-1520-R1549, and relevant posts will have an ENG1520 tag, but it will likely not be limited to class-relevant entries.
